I'm thrilled to announce my PhD thesis, Derivation of a General Purpose Architecture for Automatic User Interface Generation has been nominated for the John Makepeace Bennett Award (formerly known as the Best PhD Thesis Award) for the most Distinguished Australasian Doctoral Dissertation. My thesis details the research behind Metawidget.

The award is presented annually to the best PhD thesis in Australasia. Each University may select only one candidate to be put forward. This year, the UTS Research Degrees Committee decided to nominate me! The winner will be announced in January 2013. Previous winners can be found here.

My thanks to my supervisor John Leaney for all his help completing the submission paperwork.
